The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) approved level of issued Foreign Payment Order to $500,000, IRNA reported quoting CBI statement.
According to the Central Bank of Iran importers and exporters will be able to transfer up to $500,000 foreign payment order.
The CBI statement indicates cargo import with legal documents will permits foreign payment order up to $500,000 and the applicant should submit their documents at least by six months after issue of foreign payment order.
Previously importers and producers were only allowed to transfer $100,000 to banks.
