Iran has sent 27 trade and investment delegations to 14 countries during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year, which began March 20.
Pakistan, Iraq, China, Russia, India, Armenia, Turkey, Tajikistan, Oman, Japan, Mongolia, Greece, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates were the mentioned countries, the IRNA News Agency reported.
It is while Iran had sent only 8 delegations to 9 countries last year.
Besides holding numerous exhibitions, these delegations have held productive talks to further boost Iran's trade ties with the host country.
Iran exported $43.7 billion worth of non-oil goods last year and imported $61.8 billion worth of goods, to hit the unprecedented mark of $105 billion in annual trade
Iran also earned 4 million dollars last year by exporting technical and engineering services to over 60 countries.
Iran plans to exports 51 million dollars worth of non-oil goods and technical and engineering services by the end of current year (march 19, 2013).
