In January-September 2018, the Uzbek national export-import insurance company Uzbekinvest raised insurance premiums worth 137 billion soums, which is 2.5 times more compared to the same period in 2017.
The volume of premiums on voluntary types of insurance amounted to 114.2 billion soums.
The size of the commitments under the concluded insurance contracts amounted to 73 trillion soums.
During the nine months of 2018, about 7,400 insurance claims were considered, for which over 26.5 billion soums were paid.
In 2018, in the segment of voluntary and compulsory insurance, insurance premiums were collected in the amount of 19 billion soums, which ensured a 2.3-fold increase over the same period last year.
Regional branches provided for the collection of insurance premiums in the amount of 52 billion soums, which is 1.5 times more compared to the same period in 2017. Collection of insurance premiums by insurance offices of the district level amounted to 25 billion soums.
