The Azerbaijan Accountants and Risk Professionals Association (ARPA) plans to commence advancing risk management principles in tourism, hotel business, agriculture, telecommunications and manufacturing, among others, Executive Director of the Association Ali Bayramov told Trend.
According to him, risks exist not only in the financial sphere, but in many other areas of economy as well.
“Last year, we implemented various measures in risk management, and this year we plan to take even more serious measures,” said Bayramov.
He noted that it is planned to organize an event with participation of Turkish experts in February, who will hold free training courses on risk management.
Bayramov added that it is also planned to develop accounting and apply the changes specified in the legislation.
“We have begun organizing courses for certification of accountants in the country. We are planning to move the local chief accountants from local to international standards,” Bayramov said.
