Azerbaijan’s Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation has laid big diameter reinforced concrete pipes as part of the project of constructing a new glass factory in Azerbaijan, leading specialist of the corporation Rauf Azizov told Trend.
“The corporation produces metal structures and is currently involved in the construction of the factory,” he said.
"We have built a 68-meter metal structure and are now involved in the construction of the factory,” Azizov said. “AzerFloat company, a resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, and the German company Horn Glass Industries AG are also involved in the project."
“The new glass factory is expected to be built by the end of 2019,” he said.
Presently, Akkord Corporation holds the leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, in the construction of residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
