CEO of Iran's Qazvin Industrial Towns Company announced that 17 foreign investors have been attracted to the industrial towns of the province with an investment of 470 million euros.
"These investors are operating in the industrial towns of Caspian, Lia, Hakimiyeh and Heydariyeh,” Hamidreza Khanpour said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
“Foreign investors from Germany, France, Poland, Italy, South Korea, India, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan are present in Qazvin industrial towns,” he noted adding that the foreign companies located in Qazvin province have created 1,869 direct jobs.
The CEO of Qazvin Industrial Towns Company said with participation of 17 foreign investors, 12 production units have been put into operation and others are under construction in the province.
“Ten foreign industrial units are located in Caspian Industrial Town, five units - in Lia Industrial Town, one - in Heydariyeh Town and one unit in Hakimyieh Industrial Town,” said Khanpour.
Referring to the types of products manufactured by these companies, he noted that these products include washing machines and dishwashers, polyethylene bottles, sodium silicate, polyurethane materials, chemical raw materials, concrete products, fabrics, car pistons and belts, multilayer cardboard sheet, sterilized milk and white cheese, compressed wood sheets with PVC coating, oil purification, bitumen and grease.
