Kazakhstan is actively taking measures to resolve the current issues related to the entrepreneurship arising as a result of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the Kazakh Ministry of National Economy told Trend on Sept. 9.
“The Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Support Plan was adopted on May 20, 2020,” the ministry said.
"It envisages tax incentives, simplified administration, export promotion and import substitution, as well as the creation of the Industrial Development Fund and many more," the ministry said. “Besides the Comprehensive Plan, the additional measures to support business have been developed upon on the proposals of representatives of the business community.”
"The measures were adopted on June 16, 2020 upon the decision of the State Commission for Economic Growth Restoration till the end of the year,” the ministry said. “The proposals on topical issues received from businessmen from all regions of the country were systematized."
“The additional measures are aimed at solving current issues related to the entrepreneurship, including procurement, maintenance, leasing of agricultural machinery, opportunities for refinancing the loans, promotion of goods for export and simplification of procedures,” the ministry said.
"In the current situation, the ministry is monitoring the situation in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and is carefully considering the business proposals,” the ministry said. “In case of necessity, the additional support measures will be taken."
