The export of goods from Azerbaijan to Ukraine in total amounted to $353.05 million as of 2020, which is by 3.7 percent more compared to 2019, Trend reports with reference to the statistics bulletin of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
Thus, the share of Ukraine in the total export of Azerbaijan increased from 1.73 percent to 2.57 percent.
Annual import of Ukrainian products to Azerbaijan decreased from $467.07 million to $418.4 million (by 10.4 percent).
The share of Ukraine in the total import of Azerbaijan amounted to 3.9 percent of the total volume compared to 3.42 percent in 2019.
The volume of foreign trade operations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine amounted to $771.5 million in 2020, which shows a decline of 4.5 percent compared to 2019.
The balance of foreign trade turnover between the two countries for the reporting year remained negative, amounting to $65.4 million.
In general, as of 2020, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $24.5 billion. More than $13.7 billion of that amount, or 56.15 percent, accounted for export while the remaining $10.7 billion, or 43.85 percent, for import.
