Group of companies Sintez OKA (Russia) and Uzbekneftegaz are planning to organize the production of new types of import-substituting products (diethylene and methylethyleneamine) on the territory of Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz.
The representative from both sides agreed on this at a meeting in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent.
The sides also discussed opportunities for interaction and expected projects of joint implementation.
In particular, an agreement was reached on accelerating work on technical testing of products developed by Sintez OKA as part of a project to clean gas from mercaptans at the Mubarek gas processing plant.
Mercaptans, commonly referred to as thiols, are organosulfur molecules composed of carbon, hydrogen, and sulfur.
During the discussions, the parties explored the possibilities of applying measures that have a positive effect on the technical, economic and financial performance of these projects.
Taking into account the relevance of the above activities, the specialists of the enterprises will regularly hold meetings on the organization of work.
It should be noted that the chemical reagents developed by Sintez OKA are used in oil and gas production departments and processing enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
