Iran sees increase in non-oil exports to Turkmenistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. Iran's non-oil exports to Turkmenistan increased by 10 percent in value and 9.2 percent in quantity during the four months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through July 20, 2024) compared to the four months of the previous Iranian year (from March 21 through July 21, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.

According to the information, Iranian non-oil exports to Turkmenistan amounted to about 443,000 tons worth about $150 million during four months.

The statistics noted that in the same period last year, Iranian non-oil exports to Turkmenistan amounted to 405,000 tons worth about $136 million.

Agricultural and food products, industrial products, transformers, water conditioners, petrochemical products, and many others were exported.

To note, Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 47.9 million tons worth $17.5 billion in the first four months of the current Iranian year. During the four months, Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 10 percent in value and 4.6 percent in quantity compared to the same period last year.
