Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 December / Trend / The group of Palmali companies purchased a large-capacity oil tanker of Aframax type, which was named Azerbaijan, the company said. The vessel will start its fist voyage from Singapore.
The tanker's dead-weight of Japanese production makes up 105,000 tons, its length is 237,74m, and width 42m.
Earlier Palmali has got a $183mln loan (it is planned to increase the amount to $2 bln) from HSH Nordbank, DVB Bank to purchase three oil-loading tankers.
Palmali intends to buy one tanker of Suezmax type (dead-weight of 165,000t) and two tankers of Aframax type (dead-weight of 105,000t) at this money.
