The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported over 799,730 tons of oil products from its own refineries in January-September 2013 compared to 842,560 tons in January-September 2012, SOCAR said today.
SOCAR exported over 1.24 million tons of oil products from its own refineries in 2012 compared to about 1.45 million tons in 2011.
Petroleum products in Azerbaijan are made on the basis of two Baku refineries with a total capacity of 16 million tons a year. Both are part of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan which annually processes approximately seven million tons of oil from onshore and offshore fields and is self-funded.
