The Russian Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port transshipped around 26.56 million tons of oil in January-April 2014 compared to 32.93 million tons in the same period of 2013, the port said on May 22.
The port transshipped about 9.85 million tons of oil products during the reporting period compared to 8.9 million tons in January-April 2013, according to the port.
The port transshipped around 46.09 million tons of various cargo in January-April compared to 49.5 million tons in the same period of 2013.
The Novorossiysk port transshipped about 91.74 million tons of oil in 2013 compared to 110.83 million tons in 2012. The port transshipped 24.2 million tons of oil products in 2013 compared to 19.4 million tons in 2012. Totally, the port transshipped about 141 million tons of various cargo in 2013 compared to about 159 million tons in 2012.
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports its own oil through this port.
