Last year, the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) took the first place in terms of total assets in Azerbaijan, Trend reports Feb. 17.

According to the bank’s audited report, the IBA’s total assets amounted to 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion), and total liabilities - 7.8 billion manat ($4.6 billion).

The second position in the ranking was held by PASHA Bank with a total volume of total assets of 4.7 billion manat ($2.8 billion) and liabilities - 4.2 billion manat ($2.5 billion).

Kapital Bank ranked third with total assets and liabilities in the amount of 4.1 billion manat ($2.4 billion) and 3.7 billion manat ($2.1 billion), respectively.

Below is the full ranking of Azerbaijani banks in terms of total assets and liabilities for 2019:

The total volume of assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 32.2 billion manat ($18.9 billion), and the volume of total liabilities - 27.7 billion manat ($16.2 billion).

All calculations were carried out without Atabank’s reporting data due to their absence.
