BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 25. The average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Baku city grew to 1,251 manat ($735.88) from January through October 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the Baku City Statistical Department show that this is 7.1 percent higher than in the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan from January through October this year increased by 7.8 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to 993.2 manat ($584.24).
To note, the average monthly nominal salary of hired workers in Baku city amounted to 1,183 manat ($695.8) in 2023.
