Microsoft Azerbaijan started the implementation of the Peer Coaching program for teachers of the Azerbaijani educational institutions, the company said.
Azerbaijan's participation in the program will be implemented under the Memorandum of Understanding on Partnership in Education signed between the Education Ministry and the Microsoft.
Peer Coaching Program is aimed at improvement of new knowledge and skills of teachers to support their colleagues, as well as implementation of active teachers as instructors in schools. The project will be implemented with the participation of organization MADAD, which will hold special training for teachers.
Teacher-trainers involved in the Peer Coaching program, will provide practical advice on the application of information technologies in education to other teachers working in schools. The presence of teachers / instructors in the schools will facilitate the use of ICT in education.
The program will involve teachers and methodologists or experienced teachers, more effective and widely using information and communication technologies in education. Microsoft experts will conduct the trainings.
