BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 13. The second part of the Ak Kanat poultry farm has officially opened in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy region, Trend reports via the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan.

Launched in February 2022, the first phase of the farm included the construction of four poultry houses, each with a capacity of 160,000 laying hens.

The second phase adds three more houses, expanding capacity by 150,000 hens. The farm’s daily output now totals 140,000 eggs, and upon reaching full capacity, it is expected to produce 280,000 eggs per day.

The second phase is part of a broader investment initiative valued at $13.2 million, implemented with the support of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF). Additionally, over $750,000 has been invested through equipment leasing agreements with Aiyl Bank.

A key technological feature of the farm is the use of rapid bacterial fermentation to deodorize poultry manure.

Kyrgyzstan imported a total of 6.9 million incubator eggs from January through November 2024, with the majority—4.9 million—coming from Türkiye, 2.03 million from Uzbekistan, and 16,000 from France.
