BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1. Turkmenistan is beginning to prepare drafts of the state budget, the main directions of socio-economic development and the investment program for the next 2024, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on April 28.
According to him, the main financial plan is supposed to be developed based on the priority aspects of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028.
Furthermore, he noted that the document will define the terms and procedure for the provision of relevant calculations by ministries, industry departments and municipalities.
During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on such key tasks as maintaining stable macroeconomic indicators, creating conditions for the dynamic development of industries, the process of transformation, which should find their solution in the draft state budget, and gave instructions on improving the audit program for the preparation of the final conclusion on the project.
