ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 19. Turkmenistan continues to develop its textile industry, planning to build a new textile complex in the Dashoguz region, the deputy chairman Batyr Atdayev said at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's official media.
Proposing the construction, he noted that the new textile complex would produce cotton yarn, cotton and terry cloth, and ready-made garments.
Moreover, the construction of the complex will make it possible to produce and export high-quality and environmentally friendly textile products, as well as create new jobs.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, following the report, approved the proposal to build the complex and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the relevant work.
