TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, March 1. Uzbekistan's export of beverages and tobacco stood at $10.7 million in January 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this indicator demonstrated a growth of 84.4 percent year-on-year ($5.8 million in January 2024).
The export of beverages amounted to $5.3 million in January 2025, up 82.7 percent from the previous year ($2.9 million in January 2024).
At the same time, the volume of tobacco exports reached $5.4 million. This figure has increased by 80 percent over the year ($3 million in January 2024).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's trade turnover of beverages and tobacco reached $389.8 million in 2024. This indicator demonstrated a growth of 23.9 percent year-on-year ($314.6 million in 2023).
