TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 6. Uzbekistan's export of beverages and tobacco stood at $24.6 million from January through February 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Committee shows that this indicator demonstrated a growth of 65.1 percent year-on-year ($14.9 million in January- February 2024).
The export of beverages amounted to $10.5 million from January through February 2025, up 47.8 percent from the previous year ($7.1 million in January- February 2024).
At the same time, the volume of tobacco exports reached $14.1million. This figure has increased by 80.7 percent over the year ($7.8 million in January- February 2024).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's trade turnover of beverages and tobacco reached $389.8 million in 2024. This indicator demonstrated a growth of 23.9 percent year-on-year ($314.6 million in 2023).
