Iranian FM Salehi arrives in Beijing

Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi arrived in Beijing on Sunday evening to hold talks with high-ranking Chinese officials, IRNA reported.

Foreign Minister Salehi was welcomed at Beijing International Airport by Iranian Ambassador in China, Mehdi Safari and some Chinese Foreign Ministry officials.

Foreign Minister Salehi will meet with his Chinese counterpart, Yang Jiechi and other Chinese officials to discuss issues of mutual interest and important regional and international developments.

Salehi will also deliver a speech among Chinese intellectuals and researchers about Islamic Republic of Iran's stances vis-a-vis latest regional and international developments.

This is the first official visit of Foreign Minister Salehi to China since his appointment to ministerial post.
