Iran discloses non-oil export volumes from Qazvin Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. The export of non-oil products from Qazvin province, located in the north of Iran, amounted to 197,000 tons worth $130 million during 3 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through June 20, 2024), the director general of the customs department of Iran's Qazvin province Saeed Naderi said, Trend reports.

According to him, washing powder, various types of rubber, etc. were exported from Qazvin province for 3 months. The products were mainly exported to Iraq, the UAE, India, Afghanistan, and Türkiye.

The official noted that 40,000 tons of goods worth $262 million were imported to Qazvin province during the three months.

Naderi added that the imported products were mainly automobile compressors, spare parts for various types of machinery, etc. The products were imported from the UAE, China, Türkiye, Russia, and Germany.

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, Iran exported 38 million tons of non-oil products worth $13.5 billion during the first three months of the current Iranian year. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 7.6 percent in value and 5.6 percent in weight compared to the same month last year.
