An Iranian trade official has described problems in the fields of banking and insurance as the main obstacles to expansion of bilateral ties with Spain.
Gholamhossein Shafei, the head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (ICCIMA), has called for widening banking and insurance ties with Spain, IRNA news agency reports.
Saying that the UK, Germany and Italy have established proper banking ties with Iran, he criticized Spanish banks over their failure to create such relations.
Iranian official also called on Spanish traders and entrepreneurs to participate in development projects.
