BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 25. Air transport flights between Iran's Alborz and Qazvin Provinces have been launched.
The data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development shows that the Karaj-Qazvin flights will be operated by Piper, Euro RJ and Cessna Citation aircraft with a capacity of 2,691 passengers.
In addition, eight helicopters with a capacity of 84 people, 10 light aircraft with a capacity of 90 people and other air transport have been commissioned.
A total of 185 trillion rials (about $324 million) were spent on air transport for the Karaj-Qazvin flights.
To note, a total of 940 trillion rials (approximately $1.65 billion), $119 million and 39 million euro worth of foreign and local investments were spent on the facilities commissioned in Iran today within the framework of the projects of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
