BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. The projected outlook for Azerbaijan's liquids supply in 2024 indicates a decline of approximately 30,000 b/d, resulting in an average of 0.7 mb/d, Trend reports.
According to the data published by OPEC, some growth is expected to come from the Shah Deniz, Absheron, and Umid-Babek gas condensate projects.
Additionally, the production in Azerbaijan's ACG oil fields is expected to receive a boost next year with the introduction of a seventh ACG platform. However, as OPEC noted, despite these planned ramp-ups, the overall decline rate is anticipated to exceed the rate of production increases.
Meanwhile, OPEC expects a slight increase of 22,000 b/d for Azerbaijan's liquids supply in 2023, resulting in an average of 0.7 mb/d.
Azerbaijan's oil-condensate production from January through June 2023 amounted to 15.2 million tons, while exports totaled 12.7 million tons.
