Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov severely reprimanded the chief of the State Migration Service Seyitniyaz Balliyev for low organization and poor monitoring work while choosing personnel for the migration service agencies.
The regulation also states that the reprimand was made with a warning that he will be dismissed if made shortages are not removed.
Last week, members of the service celebrated the seventh anniversary of the founding of their department. Berdimuhammedov said on this occasion that the State Migration Service was able to quickly arrange the proper level of migration control at the checkpoints.
The Turkmen leader said that employees were able to establish a clear limit on the level of world standards, work on registration of passports to citizens of our state, leaving for abroad and coming back to the country, registration for all arriving in Turkmenistan, foreign citizens and stateless people in their place of residence, the issuance of visas for entry and exit, as well as licenses for temporary work.
