BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. A presentation ceremony of the public figure, Honored Cultural Worker Aslan Aslanov's book titled "Heydar Aliyev's lessons in statecraft and diplomacy. Book I" is being held at the Presidential Library, Trend's correspondent reports from the event.
The Director of the Presidential Library, Professor Afat Abbasova, will deliver an introductory speech at the event.
A video clip about the book is planned to be shown later.
Aslanov dedicated a large part of his life to the Azerbaijani press and its development.
He participated in most of the meetings, receptions, meetings and other events held by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in 1993-2003, as an employee of AZERTAG, as well as in most of his trips to foreign countries, and took classes at the Heydar Aliyev "university".
The book includes information prepared for the press by Aslan Aslanov from those events, as well as the author's memories and thoughts about those meetings.
The book highlights Heydar Aliyev's political activities and the events that took place in the country in 1993-1995.
The event includes speeches by professor, historian-scholar Dilara Seyidzade, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan Ali Ahmadov, Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission of the Parliament Eldar Ibrahimov, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Rafael Huseynov, international journalist Mikhail Gusman, public and political figure Ali Hasanov, Chairman of the Regional Issues Committee of the Parliament Siyavush Novruzov, MP Agil Abbas, Ph.D. in History, Head of the History of Western Azerbaijan Department of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after A.A. Bakikhanov of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Jabi Bahramov, and the author of the book, public figure, Honored Cultural Worker Aslan Aslanov.
At the end of the presentation ceremony, the Director of the Presidential Library will make a closing speech.
The event will end with a conversation over tea in the Arts and Literature Hall.
