On November 9, the Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev discussed the interactions of Russian Federation and Azerbaijan in regards to energy projects, in light of interaction with the European Union.
The Russian President congratulated Aliyev on the successful visit to Brussels, Trend reports with reference to RIA Novosti. He added that it was a very working and concrete visit, and that significant agreements were achieved for Azerbaijan to participate in the European efforts at energy sphere.
Putin said that he is very glad because Russia always holds dialogues with the European Union on this issue. He said that the next Russian-EU summit will take place in Finland soon. Putin said that it would be very interesting to know how this dialogue goes with the European partners.
