Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is sure that the dynamic development of Russian-Azerbaijani relationships promotes both the consolidation of bilateral relationships and regional stability, Trend reports citing ITAR-TASS.
"We are satisfied with the way of development of bilateral relations and high level of dynamism, which is very efficient and built on a good neighborhood relations, friendship and cooperation," Aliyev said in a meeting with the Russian President. They reached the top and we are keen to boost them, he said.
Aliyev said that the bonds are expanded in all spheres, including political, economic and humanitarian fields. Noting that the Year of Russia in Azerbaijan is coming to an end, the President called on to preserve the contacts achieved so far.
"All these issues are interrelated and their positive resolution will depend not only on the consolidation of relationships between Russia and Azerbaijan, but stabilization of situation in the region, he said.
