Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 September/ Trend , corr J. Babayeva/ New working group on Conception of State Support for Development of Mass Media will be set up at the Press Council of Azerbaijan.
"The proposals for setting up a fund in the course of three months will be submitted to President. During this period, necessary documents will be developed regarding the fund," Aflatun Amashov, chairman of Press Council said to Trend . President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in July to approve Conception of State Support for Development of mass media.
Amashov said Press Council has already studied international practice on state support for media.
"The working group is expected to be set up in the meeting of the Council soon," Amashov said.
