Caucasian Muslims Office regards necessity in ensuring security for Azerbaijani Muslims leaving for Iraq

Head of Caucasian Muslims Office considers necessary to ensure absolute guarantee of Azerbaijani Muslims' security willing to leave for Iraq for pilgrimage.

"Visits of pilgrims were traditionally organized upon the agreement between Caucasian Muslims Office and Iraqi corresponding state organizations. But it is necessary to sign protocol on agreement with our agency," Iraqi Minister of Tourism and Historic Monuments Kahtan Abbas Noman Al-Juburi Alavadi being on visit in Azerbaijan said at the meeting with Caucasian Muslims Office Chairman Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade on April 15.

Iraqi Minister of Tourism said that it is time to sign document on intentions concerning religious tourism and necessary actions will be taken, Caucasian Muslims Office said. "Inviting chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office to visit Iraq in the nearest future, Minister said that above-mentioned issue, as well as giving visa to pilgrims will be solved during the visit," the message said.

Pashazade informed Iraqi Minister about his anxiety concerning grave of great Azerbaijani poet Muhammed Fizuli in Iraq. "Alavadi told about construction-restoration operations held in Kerbala and promised to improve grave of Fizuli while extending yard of mosque," the message said.
