On 29 December the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan will consider an appeal by residents of Samukh District of Azerbaijan, who suffered material damage during the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline, the Supreme Court told Trend.
The complainants asserted that the local executive powers misappropriated the funds that they were to receive in compensation for damage from the construction of the oil pipeline.
Upon repeal by the Court of Appeal the citizens appealed to the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan.
