During 2006 Azerbaijan plans to construct 144 schools and additional corps for 54,404 seats. The schools will be constructed within the state programs, the Azerbaijani Education Ministry told Trend.
32,744-seat 66 buildings and 21,660-seats 78 corps for schools will be constructed over 2006. Implementation of these plans requires 201.7bn manats.
Besides, Azerbaijan plans construction of some schools at expense of funds of different sources, particularly, Heydar ALiyev Foundation, Japanese government, Saudi Development Fund and other sponsors.
