Committee on Defense of Oil Industry Workers' Rights submits bids to Milli Majlis

The Committee on Defense of Oil Industry Workers Rights presented bids on conferring of additional authorities to the trade unions, established in oil companies, to Milli Majlis [Parliament], Mirvari Gahramanly, the head of the Committee, told Trend.

She noted that in case of employee layoff the managements of oil companies were due to unify it with trade unions. It is necessary to adhere to the Labor Code at conclusion of labor contract. The bids, sent to Milli Majlis, also include change of conditions of contract between employers and workers, she added.

Gahramanly underlined that bids were submitted to Ali Masimov, a member of the Milli Majlis Commission on economic policy, to inform his coleagues about it and put for discussion. These docments were also addressed to Sattar Mehbaliyev, the chairman of the Trade Union Confederation, she stressed.
