The natural resource crisis is one of the main risks for the Azerbaijani economy, Trend reports referring to the Global Risks Report 2022 of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The problems with the creation of financial assets rank second. This is followed by artificial (technogenic) environmental pollution and infectious diseases, claims the report.
The representatives of 124 countries took part in the survey for the preparation of the WEF report from May till September 2021. More than 12,000 respondents answered the question about five risks which are critical for their countries over the next two years.
