ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 12. Kazakhstan
signed contracts worth $120 million for the supply of meat and
vegetable oil products, dry camel milk, juices, and marmalades at
the exhibition in Shanghai, Trend reports.
Kazakhstan successfully completed its participation in the 7th
China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, which took
place from November 5 to 10. This event marked an important step in
strengthening Kazakhstan's trade and economic ties with China and
other countries. Kazakhstan's participation was organized with the
support of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of
Kazakhstan and QazTrade.
During the exhibition, several strategically important agreements were signed. One of the key agreements was a memorandum of cooperation between the Tourism Department of the Turkestan region and Export Bahrain, a company from the Kingdom of Bahrain, aimed at developing tourist routes and increasing the flow of tourists to the Turkestan region. An agreement was also signed with Nomad Art, a company from Kyrgyzstan, to promote cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries.
Kazakhstan was represented by two national stands: in the commercial and national pavilions. Last year, the total value of contracts signed at the exhibition exceeded $81 million.
