BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 18. Azerbaijan's oil output is forecasted to reach 0.63 million barrels per day (mb/d) in 2025, Trend reports.
As such, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has revised down its outlook for the country's oil production by 0.01 mb/d, compared to the previous assessment.
For 2025, the EIA predicts that production will stand at 0.61 mb/d in the first quarter, rising to 0.62 mb/d in the second quarter. Growth is projected to continue, reaching 0.64 mb/d in both the third and fourth quarters of the year.
In 2024, oil production is expected to stand at 0.60 mb/d (0.63 mb/d in 2023).
Meanwhile, according to the latest data from Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry, the country's oil production, gas condensate, reached 24.1 million tons. Some 13.9 million tons of the production accounted for the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 3.5 million tons (gas condensate) - the Shah Deniz field, and 500,000 tons (gas condensate) - the Absheron field.
