BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 28. Azerbaijan has seen its coffers swell with the golden nectar of chemical exports flowing beyond its borders during the first ten months of 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that the country exported 910,542 tons of chemical products worth $237.25 million, marking a year-on-year growth of $37.18 million (18.6 percent) in value and 196,856 tons (27.5 percent) in volume compared to the same period last year.
The chemical exports accounted for 1.04 percent of the country's total exports over the 10 months.
To note, during the first 10 months of last year, Azerbaijan exported 713,686 tons of chemical products worth $200.68 million.
