BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Azerbaijan's chemical industry export volume totaled 1.1 million tons of chemical products shipped abroad, amounting to $293.7 million.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee indicates that the value of exported chemical products grew by $45.5 million (an increase of 18.3 percent) compared to 2023, while the volume rose by 169,500 tons (an 18 percent increase).
Moreover, the share of chemical products in Azerbaijan's overall export accounted for 1.11 percent during the reporting period, while in the non-oil sector, it stood at 8.75 percent.
Additionally, throughout 2024, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with 180 countries, totaling $47.6 billion in trade volume.
