Turkmenistan's commodity exchange sees high trading activity

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 21. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) recorded purchases exceeding $4.6 million on Thursday, Trend reports.

Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and the UAE made a deal with the State Concern "Turkmennebit" for the purchase of aviation kerosene.

During the trading session, a total of two deals were concluded, amounting to 4,629,625 USD.

GTSBT, founded in 1994, plays a vital role in the country’s economic landscape. As the primary institution for regulating export-import operations, it facilitates transparent transactions and promotes trade in various sectors, including petrochemicals, agriculture, textiles, and construction materials. The exchange also strengthens Turkmenistan’s international trade relations, creating opportunities for foreign investment and expanding economic ties with other nations.
