BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. The volume of loans provided to the electricity, gas, steam, and water sectors in Azerbaijan reached 320.1 million manat ($188.2 million) by the end of February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates
that this metric illustrates a growth trajectory of 7.8 million
manat ($4.5 million), equating to a 2.5 percent uptick relative to
the terminal point of the preceding month.
Concurrently, the aggregate quantum of credit allocated to these
sectors reached 312.3 million manat ($183.7 million) by the
conclusion of January 2025.
The aggregate credit portfolio for the real sector in Azerbaijan is
currently positioned at 29.4 billion manat (equivalent to $17.2
billion), demonstrating a monthly uptick of 77.6 million manat
(approximately $45.6 million), which translates to a growth rate of
0.3 percent.
