TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 9. Uzbekistan’s refined cottonseed oil production saw a significant increase in the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee shows that large enterprises produced 33.100 tons of refined cottonseed oil from January to March, marking a 13,479-ton increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The country's production volumes have nearly doubled over the past year, rising from 19.600 tons in Q1 2024 and 18.400 tons in Q1 2023 to 33.100 tons in 2025. This notable growth underscores strong momentum in the country’s agricultural processing sector, particularly in cotton by-products.
