BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. Zolotaya Korona remains the leading international money transfer system in Kazakhstan, facilitating nearly half of all incoming remittances in April 2025, Trend reports.
According to the latest data from the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the system processed 24,140 transactions, representing 43.7% of the total, with a monetary value of 9.5 billion tenge ($18.6 million), or 49.3% of all funds received through payment systems.
This dominance indicates strong consumer trust and widespread use of Zolotaya Korona for transferring money to Kazakhstan. The company outperformed its nearest competitors by a significant margin in both transaction count and amount.
Meanwhile, in April 2025, Kazakhstan received a total of 55,300 money transfer transactions from abroad through various international payment systems, amounting to 19.3 billion tenge ($37.7 million).
