BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 18. Azerbaijan produced 65,100 tons of steel pipes from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that this figure grew by 16,700 tons (34.5 percent) year-on-year.
As of June 1, of this year, the ready stock of steel pipes amounted to 2,400 tons.
Azerbaijan produced 495.6 million manat ($291.5 million) worth of products in the metallurgy industry and finished metal goods sectors from January through May 2025. Production in the finished metal goods sector declined by 9.6 percent, while metallurgy industry output dropped by 12.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
