ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, June 23. Export transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reached nearly $33 million during the second week of June, Trend reports.
Acquisition agents from the United Arab Emirates, the United
States, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan executed foreign exchange
transactions for asphalt binder manufactured by Türkmennebit, in
addition to liquefied hydrocarbons provided by Türkmennebit,
Türkmengaz, and Türkmenhimiýa.
Textile and construction materials also drew demand. Entities
hailing from the UAE, Turkey, and Uzbekistan have engaged in the
procurement of flannel textiles, Portland cement, and concentrated
licorice root extract, thereby diversifying their product
portfolios and enhancing supply chain efficiencies.
Within the national economic landscape, Turkmen business operators
executed agreements aggregating in excess of $22.29 million. The
transactions included purchases of plain-dyed and jacquard terry
fabrics, cotton yarn, lint, polypropylene, base oil, road bitumen,
and packaging film from Türkmennebit, as well as carbon black from
Türkmenhimiýa.
A cumulative total of 44 transactions were documented at the SCRMET
auctions during the preceding week.
