BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9. The cost for constructing the Goshasu, Seyidlar, and Bulovlu small hydropower plants (SHP) in Azerbaijan has been determined, Trend reports.
AzerEnergy Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) has initiated the
requisite operational procedures.
The organization is actively seeking a contractor to execute the
construction of the SHPs.
The projected expenditure for the construction endeavor is
quantified at 55.16 million manat, equivalent to approximately
$32.5 million.
Small Hydropower Systems (SHPs) conventionally harness the kinetic
energy of flowing water to produce electrical power, generally
operating within a capacity range of 1 to 10 megawatts (MW).
