Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 Dec / Trend corr. U.Ismayilova, I.Alizade/ The Azerbaijani Parliament adopted a bill on Housing Code in the first reading, which the parliamentary permanent commission on legal policy and state service offered.
In accordance with the bill, residents should repair a building while revealing accident rate and residents have a right to appeal to juridical bodies in the case of discontent. "If residents refuse to repair flat or building in emergency situation, property will be passed to balance of the state," the bill said.
If housing property is in emergency situation as a result of any incident, it will be repaired on the base of compensation, determined by the relevant administrative bodies. "If repair or upgrade of building is impossible, it will be included in balance of the state," the bill said.
The bill confirms a right on property for life guardianship, as well.
