The European Commission continues to support the Nabucco gas pipeline project to diversify energy resources in the bloc, commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Tuesday.
"We remain excessively vulnerable regarding gas delivery to the European Union and other neighbouring countries. So Nabucco must continue to move ahead," Barroso said in a video message posted on the website of the Hungarian government.
"Let me once again signal on behalf of the European Commission our support for the Nabucco project," he said, reported Reuters.
