In January-April 2018, Azerbaijani companies specializing in construction sector, manufactured products worth 162.5 million manats, which is 37.8 percent more than in the same period last year, said the report of the state statistics Committee of Azerbaijan on the results of the first four months of 2018.
During the reporting period, 947,000 tons of cement were produced in Azerbaijan (an increase of 27.3 percent, compared to the same period of 2017), 9,300 tons of lime (an increase of 25.9 percent), 35,800 tons of asphalt (a decrease of 21.1 percent), 77,700 cubic meters of brick (an increase of 3 percent), 372,500 tons of finished concrete mixture (an increase of 2.1 times), 5,010 tons of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and products from them (a two-fold increase), according to the data.
The US dollar was set at 1.7 AZN/USD for May 18.
